A Japanese networking company known as FreeBit has achieved this piece of trickery and this new iPhone application has been quite oddly named as ServerMan@iPhone.

With the help of this application, one can download or upload files via a standard browser or through the webDAV protocol. According to FreeBit, the iPod touch or iPhone would just appear like any available server computer on the web.

While in operation, the PC which accesses the phone will directly connect to it if they appear on the similar part of networking as just on the same wireless connection.

Senior media analyst Jason Blackwell says in this connection: “The social media is moving in the same passion as video bustle is going across different screens.”

Intel, the largest chipmaker in the world, has announced to halt production in its five older factories, and similarly the company will close its two existing assembling and testing facilities in Philippines and Malaysia.

Intel revealed in a statement that the move at four plants and with other supporting functions would nearly affect 5-6 employees globally. However, all of these employees wouldn’t leave, as some of them would also be offered jobs in other Intel facilities the action will be taken in two steps: now and in the end of 2009.

Chuck Mulloy, an Intel spokesperson, said that the move was related to the call that was made in its earnings conference last week. In that Conference Company’s financial officer Stacey Smith had announced that the company would take some immediate actions to decrease the utilization levels in different factories stop oversupplies.

“To make these older facilities capacity offline is a part of long term planning process, however, the current slowdown made us to accelerate the process,” Chuck added.

Apple Inc. has already issued an advisement bulletin to channel partners that advises resellers to be prepared for possible product shortages in August.  It also hints that the supplies of some Mac notebooks and current model iPods will soon become very short.

Michael Dell further told that their move towards open source mobile operating system like Google’s Android and Nokia’s Symbian would promise an exciting time for the company. It is worth mentioning that Michael became the head of the company in an attempt to save from a bad patch that made the company fall behind rival Hewlett Packard.

While announcing these details at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) ,David Reeves, SCEE boss told that 27th August would be the arrival date of 80GB PS3 in Europe, Middle East, Australia , New Zealand and Africa.  In Europe its price would be 399euros and 299 pounds in the U.K., however, according to Sony Computer Entertainment Australia spokesman, the pricing for Australia would be announced soon. So far PSP and PlayStation 2 are concerned; Reeves told that would be no price drop in Europe.

The current 40GB SKU will be replaced with 80GB model just like in the US, and on the 40GB model there would be no price drop in the interim, Reeves further told.

According to Reeves the Platinum array of PS3 games will be available in the SCEE territories soon with tiles like Fall of Man, MotorStorm, Drake’s Fortune, Virtua Tennis 3 and Assassin’s Creed while WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW will arrive in September this year. The platinum games will set back 29.99 euros in Europe, 19.99 pounds in the U.K , A$ 49 in Australia and NZ$59 in New Zealand.

Though not as slim as we like, quite compact and can be easily carried in small luggage with its 2kg chassis that is ideal for travel. We can easily keep working the whole day long with its 314-minute battery life. But one thing is worth mentioning and that’s about large battery that sticks out 20mm behind the chassis.

All can be said about build quality, is that it’s excellent. But the glossy lid easily gets tarnish and while traveling, it would be better to keep it in a suitable case.

So far keyboard is concerned, it makes typing quite comfortable and accurate with its large keys and smooth action.

It has a 13.3-inch screen that is, no doubt, really bright and sharp. But 3D performance through built-in Intel graphics is low; however, it’s quite powerful for basic gaming and photo editing.

So far performance in concerned, it is impressive indeed. It has a Core Duo processor that is from Intel’s new range and has the ability to run high-powered applications and several tasks without any obvious drop in pace.

It provides high general performance in a small chassis but still it remains cool almost all the time as the cooling is never off-putting that allows you to work peacefully. There is brushed aluminum around the keyboard that feels quite cool to the touch.

250 GB hard disk provides considerable storage for such a small machine. You can also back up data to CD and DVD with its dual-layer DVD rewriter and you can also burn your own labels to compatible discs with its LightScribe technology.

A mixed bag: that’s what we can say about connectivity .You can connect to wireless networks at the quickest possible pace with its 802.11n Wi-Fi. However, only an analogue VGA output has been provided to connect external display.

A thing that you must keep in mind form budget point of view is that no office software has been included in it but it has propriety system maintenance applications from Samsung and a good collection of DVD playback and creation tools.

For the regular traveler, the Samsung Q70 is a nice ultra-portable machine with its sheer power and mobility and its affordable price makes it more appealing and really adds to the value.

Though there is software disappointment and limited connectivity, Q70 is still highly recommended.
